Was treading a beach a few hours ago, saw Hawaii Mars, I believe it was. Flew by three times, the first the lowest/closest I think, truly breathtaking. Very, very loud.
Despite what Wikipedia may tell you, there were no Snowbirds. Rather, there were other propeller aircraft. One biplane, with a blue nose and trail it used once, another single-engined aircraft, and what I’m tempted to say was a Catalina, though I am not certain. It had black engine nacelles, anyhow.
That was a pleasant surprise.
@OrangeConnor2 aight, whatever you're doing, good luck i guess?
@126 That’s beyond the scope of this conversation.
@OrangeConnor2 anyways, how's it been?
@126 Had to do some supply scouting too. Unfortunately I wasn't able to nab any steel plates for Fillets.
@OrangeConnor2 i see... so... you're really lucky is what you're saying, also, damn, you took a vacation? no wonder why you're somewhat inactive
@126 I’d rather not post my exact location on the internet, thank you very much.
It was a beach on Vancouver Island. Actually quite a nice place, managed to scare a few people by collecting a rather obscene number of crabs for one hand.
@OrangeConnor2 wait, where or when did you see said aircraft at? no seriously, I want to know
@32 Precisely.
@126 I mean off Google. I looked up the name, and had no shortage of images of the plane, or at least one of similar model.
@32 damn!
@126 It’s probably this
@OrangeConnor2 show them then.
@126 Also, how did they not match? I got plenty of photos.
@126 Unfortunately not. I did not have a camera of any sort with me.
any photos of the aircraft? becuase i tried looking up one and none of the results matched
