If you go to the images for simpleplanes 2 on steam you can see some images that show what the editor and stuff looks like and it’s pretty cool
Here it shows new painting menu with features like texture and style
Here you can see laser bombs in the air to ground section and the ui looks more rounded.
In this image the Trim slider says what percent it is at. The altitude thing also displays altitude agl
This image shows the new wings with the flaps down. It seems like they replaced the VTOL slider with a Flaps slider. The landing gear looks updated
In this image you can see the stock p-51B and it has a different looking nose. Also the ui looks pretty similar except with rounded edges
I had to screenshot this image since my phone wouldn’t let me save it but it is the main banner at the top of the simpleplanes 2 steam listing. You can see in the image there is an aircraft carrier that is much larger than the current one. It has 2 catapults and a zumwalt destroyer escorting it. Idk if the destroyer is player built though
I added this new image which says simpleplanes2 mobile will come in 2026. also the person who made that review sounds like they forgot to check the simpleplanes 2 forum post

@Rb2h it's most likely a target being "lased". That's what they say when designating a target with laser (I think).
They literally just made all the buttons round

these are screenshots of the teaser.
My one concern with this is the variables icon. Funny trees always felt slapped on in the first game, being only accessible through the XML editor. I hope at least for the sequel they add a full-on code editor for it.

Is it some sort of new enemy or the ice base's laser system?
I think the paint editor will be more like flyout, were you can freely paint with your mouse
it would be easier to paint camos and stuff with it
