After the attack by Japan on the Philippines, Nepal was bound by the rules of the South and Central Asia Treaty Organization [S&CTO] to mobilize military forces, currently Nepal is sending aid to the Philippines and neighboring islands\countries. Nepal has also prepared the mobilization of Gurkhas for the possible defense of itself and other countries.
