Basically you want to attach your weapon of your choice to a inactive dettacher and cover it with fuselage with its mass (do it to the detacher too), drag and collision turned off. The fuselage must be connected to the detacher and nothing else. And to put it on your aircraft, connect it by the detacher.

However, there is a more complicated method. You do every step from the previous method but instead of turning off mass and drag you divide it equally across all parts. For example, if your coustom weapon has 10 parts in total (including the in game weapon used), divide the mass and drag value which is 1 by 10 and you get 0.1. Put this value in all pieces mass and drag value (including the weapon used).
