Hey guys, as you should know, today is September 11th. This day in 2001, the Al Qaeda terrorist attacks took place. As someone who was born in Manhattan, NYC and has lived there for 3/4 of my life, today is a special day. I remember seeing the spotlights from where the World Trade Center once stood shine brightly into the air. It is so sad we have to live in a world like this. I just wanted to put out that I am very sad about this and the forum post is just to make you aware that you should respect the fallen. Just don't make any mean or hateful comments about this topic today, or ever for that matter. I have been the victim of people making 9/11 jokes and it makes me kind of sick. So just behave yourselves. I don’t want this post to be taken down for politics or anything but im trying to convey a message that it’s not okay to disrespect this day and the victims or people affected by the event. I was born 9 years after 9/11 so I was not alive during the event, but I still feel afflicted by it. So once again, be kind.

I had many things wrong with this, theres even a list!
1. 9/11 wasn't a plane crash
2. It's not funny, 2,988 people died this day.

@F16xl I know I'm a month late but same here. It's honestly stupid. They don't have empathy.. but at the same time for me it seems to be mostly middle schoolers making these.. and their well.. very stupid.

I read up on books and watches a few videos on this topic and it made me realize how horrible this day was. I swear if I see some underage kid make jokes about 9/11-
