Does the AI for the enemy planes not have a sense of where the ground is? Every time ive gotten on the tail of the AI plane trying to see how long i can chase him for (without shooting him yet) the AI plane dives. Majority of the time he'll keep his dive all the way into the water.
Hmmm... Maybe Google's TensorFlow can help. @Skua
@Sirstupid I actually asked one of the devs about this during the beta, and the reason is that the AI pilots don't actually know how well the plane they're flying handles. They learn a bit with time, but otherwise just assume they can pull off nearly any manoeuvre
@AnarchistAerospaceIndustries they suck at dive bombing lol
LOL I had two German planes racing on the daredevil track, both AI, and the JU-87 Stuka dove RIGHT INTO THE GROUND.. I'm like dafuq?
@TheEngineer B**ing Betty D:
Terrain. Terrain. Terrain. Terrain. pulls circuit breaker
That would be a good idea.
Hmm, i would have thought that the AI would have a "deck" programmed in. Like never decend below 500 feet or so to prevent hitting the water.
And combat
Yes, but I think it prioritizes escape from the plane.
