I’ve been noticing I’m not the only mobile player who has this bug

8,222 Airheaddivision  2 months ago

So after a few certain updates, I’ve found out that all my aircraft’s that use wing properties have all started flying to the left or right at a hard angle and never straight.

Keep in mind I’m using wing physics, and it happens on either symmetrical, semi-symmetrical, or flat bottom.

I thought it was just a few certain builds and was fine with it for a while until I did a thorough investigation, as I am purely devoted to simpleplanes.

Back to the topic, after using all of my aircraft, and timing everything with the last few updates, All my aircrafts had been working well until a few updates ago.

I appreciate the devs and all they do but what I don’t like is my builds getting messed up, that’s not cool or okay. What’s worse is when this doesn’t get fixed by even a small margin, I’ve noticed I’m not the only one here who has had this same complaint, it’s just all I’m asking is for this to please get fixed.

I’m not asking for any new stuff, I’m not asking for a new map or game, I’m just asking for this to get fixed, this is a great game, best building game when it comes to imagination in my opinion, but the whole list of bugs that people have reported that haven’t been addressed is a terrifying sight, my final investigation will be on my computer and I’ll check if the bug is in that PC version as well, best wishes on this and respect.

@overlord5453 if you want, I recently let another player take a look at one of my builds and he believed it was a bug, but be my guest, I’ll tag you on a post

@overlord5453 I did that and i destroyed my aircraft and how it flies, sorry, maybe it’s best I just deal with it for now.

@Airheaddivision go through the connections on each side. You might notice some extra connections.

@overlord5453 interesting, I’ll keep take another look but I can’t say if I’ll be able to fix it or not

@RailfanEthan @Airheaddivision it's definitely messed up connection. One side of the aircraft having more connection compared to the other side will cause this roll (Yaw when on the ground). The more connections you have on one side the worse the problem becomes. I have had this problem before and the only way to fix it is to make sure everything is connected to what they are meant to be connected to and nothing else. One side being heavier can also cause this. Undoing/re doing can sometimes mess up the connections.

@RailfanEthan I’ll try that thanks, not sure if it will work or not.

if it's roll related, this has been a bug for years. it's caused by a part colliding with another or having a messed up connection. double check anything you've mirrored and maybe give the wings some more connections to cover yourself.

@TheMouse gotcha, I’ll link you two aircraft to compare with as I’d have to link you every one of them and I don’t want to bother you with that, thanks.

I have not noticed this, think you could link me to a plane with this issue?
Otherwise, I would suggest you talk to @AndrewGarrison.
