No, they're different groups. The Cerberus group never knew the Abydos desert unlike the Kaiser group.
@Soulprime043 it turns out its just a graphical glitch, it wont affect the flight performance nor the plane itself. Its just a harmless bug, it has been present in the game since release.

Yeaa just ignore it or maybe repaint it into the matching color so it doesnt look glitchy.
