With the absolute gift of a device that can handle almost 1400 parts with no issue at MAX graphics (mobile) I have decided to let my not-so-fortunate brothers enjoy simpleplanes to it's fullest.
I'm gonna make a new series of creations with very funny and goofy names (pun often intended)
Starting with
Little Flyer
And Little hover
I will try to make all of these planes less than 100 parts. Apologies if the planes are a tad bit too thin, I can't do anything about it (I love frame planes)
Enjoy, and have a nice day!
@MrSqueak good to know
@overlord5453 90hz - 90 fps at max. I'm sure it's a good phone
@MrSqueak the one I am talking about has 2ghz Processer and a 90hz display. Don't know what difference that makes.
@overlord5453 the processor and GPU may vary. So yes, a big difference in performance
@MrSqueak the phone i saw has 8gb ram and 256 gb rom. It should be similar in performance right? I am most likely wrong because I am no tech expert.
@overlord5453 slight drop. An no, the Xiaomi pad 6 is not a phone, it's a tablet. Quite a big one at that
@MrSqueak did the frame rate drop drastically or was it a slight drop?
I got a phone on my radar. I am wondering if I should get it or not.
@AWESOMENESS360 I found the limit to be around 2000 parts for max graphics and 3200 parts for potato graphics.
@AWESOMENESS360 I still haven't truly tested my device. I saw a Japanese submarine that had about 1500 parts and downloaded it. It handles well but I'm still not exact about my device limitations
@overlord5453
8 GB Ddr5 ram
256GB total storage
Snapdragon 870 processor
I'm not sure about the GPU
Totally a mid device (handles most games on high graphics for hours on end without frame drop beyond 80 fps)
@AWESOMENESS360 The majority of mobile players use low end or mid - devices that cannot handle 500 parts at medium graphics (I know this from experience)
Yes. Apple devices are very good at handling games because of the insane optimization and the powerful chipsets. But we also have to look at android players right? Lower optimization, lower specs, and lower capacity to handle moving parts on a physics simulation.
1,400 parts is honestly kinda average as far as mobile devices go anymore. My old ass iPhone 7 could run over a thousand parts, and my current slightly less old iPhone 12 can run over two thousand without much trouble, even at max graphics settings. Despite this, I do enjoy the simpler builds, to some extent even more than the super detailed and complex ones. They tend to be more fun to use, actually. Well, most of the time. Looking forward to this!
