The hurricane still carpets the sky.

MDA ground units still hold strong at Wright. No RCF forces will penetrate their blockade now.
But today, something's... off.

???: Vous comprendrez. Et si tu ne le fais pas, je suis sûr qu'il te le dira, maintenant que je suis libre. Quoi qu’il en soit, évitez la piste d’atterrissage. Je ne voudrais pas que le seul AMX-10M fonctionnel au monde soit détruit au combat...

And they did, in fact, have a problem.

This one hurts and I don't know why 😭
Moments later, the first gunshots went off. One of the twelve M49A3-As at the base burst into flames as it was mercilessly shredded by the attacker. In the panic, there was no time to react.

Another tank fell victim. A TVT-FT was struck several times, destroying its flamethrower fuel tank, and setting the tank ablaze. By some miracle- or the hurricane's rain- the TVT was extinguished, but damaged.

Ever brave, an Enargite VII rushed in to help his dying teammates. Thankfully, his armor protected him from the brunt of the attack, but the armor itself was almost completely destroyed. A sprocket was blown off in the attack too.

However, the attacker wasn't prepared to be ambushed from behind. Tonk and a TVM-155- the only TVM-155 here, actually, since the TVMX-155 is looking to replace the normal TVM-155- rushed at the rogue SPAA from his blind spot. He quickly took notice and attacked back, damaging the TVM-155 and Tonk, but not too severely. Before he could continue with them, though, he heard a sound that prompted him to look up.

An F/CAS-12, attempting to leave the base- in spite of the hurricane- to escape the unidentified assailant. But there was no mercy. A few blasts were heard, then a boom as the F/CAS fell to the ground (which is, in fact, the F/CAS-12's only loss for now). A second one attempted to leave shortly after...

...but escape was impossible. The attacker struck it down all the same, shooting out its cockpit which inevitably caused it to suffer the same fate as its comrade.

However, it wasn't over yet. Lagwing and two F-33As, along with a single F-33S, came to the rescue. Sort of.
Lagwing attempted to absolutely ruin the SPAA, but terrifyingly, the SPAA managed to strike Lagwing's main left wing. In truth, the damage was actually only half the issue. But the hurricane winds combined with the damage, caused half of Lagwing's left wing to get ripped off. By some double miracle, he was not only able to fly out of there alive, but the broken piece of his wing fell into the ocean, rather than the airport where his brothers in arms were fighting for their lives.

Upon seeing this, the F-33s realized just what they were fighting, and chose to fly over the airfield, but not actually engage.


And by yet another miracle, none of the Falchions were destroyed, but one of the F-33As was found to be littered with scratches from flak shrapnel.

Once the shock wore off, the AMX-10M from earlier finally had enough, and attempted to attack the assailant. But instead, it just drove backwards and descended into the sea. The devastation was over, but the damage was already done.

Tonk, a veteran of the M-War and friend of many, was one of several who barely survived the attack.

Initial MDA perception placed this as an attack by the RCF, and nearly signed off on a nuclear attack. But in a move that either saved or doomed the RCF, just an hour after the attack on Wright...
Avalanche was hit next.

Just as RCF forces were settling into their new (albeit stolen) base, a tank, seemingly rising from the ocean, made an incursion onto the property and blasted almost everything in sight. Many RCF vehicles were able to retreat to their hangars, but several others were left outside and at the SPAA's mercy.

And this time, there was seriously no mercy. Once all the exposed RCF units were neutralized, the SPAA decided to be extra toxic, and took out their communications. As if being trapped on an island thanks to storm wasn't bad enough, now there's an unforeseen assailant with them, and they can't even call for help.

But now the question is... who is this, where did he come from, what does he want, and how long can we survive?

Well, we're cooked.
