Lets compile ideas in this forum cuz I think it'd be interesting to see what the community has in mind for these things.
I personally think it'd be cool if we could have programmable screens so we could make an actual C.O.F.F.I.N system
What do YOU think should be in SP2
35.1k Icey21

@Theplaneexpert10 yup
That'd be correct
You're prob like 1 out of the 5-8 people that solved that so far.
Being able to see underwater
@IceCraftGaming I did the math in your bio and it says you're 15 years old. Is that right?
@crazyplaness Ah, so fuel flow control, like in KSP. Yes, that would be very, very helpful.
@Graingy I mean that you could make the fuel in drop tanks get used before the fuel in the wings for example
There should be the ablity to intercept anti-ship missiles with sams such as the sm-3 and auto aimed CIWS, so that ships can properly defend themselves without spamming countermeasures and causing lag.
There should also be the ablity to create holes in the fuselage so that we can make proper vls cells without adding to the part count.
Counter measures should also be nerfed so that it requires a random amount of countermeasures 3instead of a few to counter missiles, the missile should also lock onto the countermeasures and explode after hitting it.
You should also be able to change how the missile tracks by making it follow a sea skimming trajectory or ballictic trajectory.
@crazyplaness Yes? Isn't that what fuselage is, though?
@Graingy we have procedural fuel tanks in simplerockets 2
An "Add image" feature for the site. An ability to place image without requiring third party image hosting site
@Graingy not to mention how stupidly laggy that would be on multiplayer
@Solent19
They enemy will learn to fear the livery of the 3000 crudely-drawn dongs
police car ai and land traffic (ie cars, trucks, trains, etc, all destroyable ofc)
@crazyplaness Don’t we already have those?
Craft save folders.
Indepth engine editor like what's in automation. Maybe not to the same degree but something similar. Better suspension parts would be another plus, stuff like ball joints so that you have a sperate part from the control base. More types of race tracks would be amazing. Some more realistic nascar style ovals or a dirt oval would be amazing, especially for me so I got a place to test the dirt cars I've already made and the ones I plan to make.
Vodka.
Wings that make lift and stall correctly (just change lift and drag to suit what the actual symmetric, semi, flat and nacaprop airfoil would do but keep the old wings in game files so builds port over well)
Props that aren’t basically reskinned jets
Fuselages with cross section editing (flyout style)
Livery editor (again like flyout)
I’m certainly on the simulator side of the community which I want things that others may not - however aerospace was never meant to be “simple“
Most importantly the devs need to communicate with the player base, biggest positive I’ve seen for SR2 is the roadmap page.
we need customisable BFE-300s and delay FT code
A stock ejection seat
Realistic water graphics, akin to what PC currently has and what SR2 has, just better. Because SP2 go brrrrrt. Additionally, in-game support and tips regarding funky trees for those who are new to the language, or just straight up don't understand any of it, would be great to help more people understand and learn. Many other things already mentioned by comments below this one, tank treads could be neat to have along with customizations for said treads. More realistic rotators that actually abide by the real laws of physics would be great. Wing physics that don't bug out, i.e. jittering uncontrollably past certain speeds despite having zero mass or drag physics enabled. Custom sound files would be awesome, being able to make and upload your own sounds to a preset to be used in your creation would be so cool. Better optimization of everything would be quite convenient as well, of course. Can't think of anything else atm.
Of the things that Jundroo haven't announced yet, I hope they add train tracks.
Replay system.
Better AI. AI that can detect if it's flying a fighter Jets, an airliner, a helicopter, or even land and sea vehicle.
Fox 2.
Pontoons and Landing Skis
