I lost Minecraft PvP against my cousin.
I have some people over for Thanksgiving. I use a Canadian calendar for work, so I might as well make use of the holiday.
Anyways, I challenged my cousin to a PvP match. Somewhere off to the side in a creative world, in a forest biome, with a river separating us, and 10 minutes until we could cross to kill the other. Starting with no inventory in survival, keep inventory enabled. After 15 minutes we could go to the village. First to kill the other wins.
After a decent start, both of us evenly matched in resources, I found a cave and started getting plenty of iron. Got killed, but it didn't count since it was a monster. At 10 minutes they went on the offensive, but couldn't find me.
Eventually made my way to the village, tried to smelt the rest of my iron (lost the furnace with some of it in the cave earlier). Got a full set of armour, even.
They had a shield, though. Couldn't bust it. It was raining so my flint and steel (which I made instead of a shield earlier, since I forgot shields were a thing) couldn't help.
I rushed inside the blast furnace building to make a shield, but miscounted in my mind and didn't get enough wood. My cousin broke my barricade and killed me despite my superior armour.
I am humiliated.
I will get my revenge.

if he has a village in your world or a house in it, rig it to explode if he opens a chest.

@126 Minecraft is a far heavier game than you’d think.
Keep in mind, its performance requirements are entirely open-ended. The PS4 is basically just a midline gaming PC from 2013, timeless as its appearance may be (because goodness that box looks good).

@126 PS5, yeah.
Got the thing because the PS4 was becoming unusably/impractically slow, and that was in single player survival. Freezes, things not updating (sometimes for a LONG time), etc.
I’d died to lag a few times.
PS5 ain’t perfect, but it’s vastly better.
Except when you detonate like 30 kilotons of TNT. It hates that..

@GuardianAerospace true, but he would know where are these salmon coming from. On the other hand, it feel so normal yet so abnormal and it would be really funny to watch him try and figure out what's going on. (that said, I don't see how the 500 buckets of salmon wouldn't work)
