Hey, dad.

Comms are down. The Sirens keep saturating our forces with EM waves of some sort. No one knows what's going on at times, or where the others are. We had to resort to lamp signals to pass status updates to our fleet when it happens. Not the best form of talking, but better than staying deaf.

This message will probably send once our transceivers are back online, but right now we're in the middle of a firefight. The fleet just made contact with a Siren floating base here in the English Channel. The French and Royal Navy's sailing with us to battle.

I can hear the missile pods popping open and sending payload after payload at the floating base.. we're tossing everything we can at the target. And I'm damned sure that 3/4ths of them will be intercepted anyway. Even the carriers have all their fighters in the air but I doubt they'll do much to the structures themselves.

1300H

They're swarming the fleet. Dozens of Buster suicide boats are inbound. We're throwing ASMs and automatic cannon fire at these things but they just keep coming. It's ridiculous how much they can make and deploy at any given time..

TFNS Vickers just took a Buster to her starboard side. I pray survivors get to abandon ship; that poor destroyer's gonna sink. If not now, then eventually, and fast.

Our ship's hit. Plasma warhead blew the entire front of our destroyer to high hell. Our way out's blocked by debris and melted steel too.. we're stuck.

I can hear heavy pulse cannon fire outside.. Must be Watcher Theta. If it is, thank fuck she's here.. We can only do so much to let allied command know that we're in trouble.

Water's rushing in. We don't have long left. I just hope the rest of the fleet's largely fine and there weren't too much killed..
