They have different mindsets.
Mastermind is a 52 year old Sentience (contained in a flight computer), that's very commanding and strict with his troops.
Spectral, in the other hand, is a 45 year old Very caring and motherly sergeant.
The Beef between her and the Mastermind started in early 2020s.

Essentially, the battery is corrupted (not physically, but components are). Meaning, you'll have to replace it.
