So..
I turned on a small mobile ham radio to 50 Watts, had the large antenna in my room, and broadcasted it, and my room fan turned on, the display stayed off, and then shut off when I stopped transmitting,
Im pretty sure im giving myself extreme amounts of RF Radiation.
Am i cooked?
@WisconsinStatePolice
Yeah so I have access to talk on every single frequency you can think of and if the FCC finds it im cooked
@WisconsinStatePolice
Voice. Not sure what you mean by energy but I’d assume you mean encryption like FSK, CW, etc
like voice, or just energy (if thats the right word)?
@WisconsinStatePolice
Yes. Any band you can think of. AM and FM
Though that begs the question, are you a microwave burrito?
That's just a microwave. Very different effect.
Random question, out of curiosity, mostly because I don't know much about any of this.
Can you listen/transmit around the 119.00-123.00 range?
@Graingy
Apparently, The hazard is heating up cells to the point of killing them
With non-ionizing radiation?
Drama queen.
@Graingy
Cancer.
@WisconsinStatePolice
I own a modded Yeasu VX-6 that can transmit on every frequency out there.
besides short wave, that band it refuses to transmit on.
The FCC wants me dead im sure
If youre ever in the Minnesota metro, check into 90.2 or 96.5. I transmit on those both. but not really 96.5 cus theres a country station there
mmmmm
please don't tick off the FCC
I mean, you could microwave yourself, but it doesn't sound like you got baked.
Eh, it's radio.
What's the worst that could happen?
@Ashdenpaw1 might want to check that
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 I mean, I felt a little tingle in the side of my body that was facing the antenna
@Ashdenpaw1 I looked it up, since you didn't get burned, you might not be cooked
@Ashdenpaw1 I don't mean to alarm you but i don't think you have cancer. that comes later.
@overlord5453 @Boeing727200F
I mean like, do I have cancer now?
Welp,
I don’t know.
Sounds like you are cooked
By the looks of it, you already got cooked.
