Try placing the gyro at the exact center of mass. And experiment with the values of the gyro speed. Do not touch the gyro stability and keep it at 100%
For higher masses, try increasing the Gyro speed

most suspects are:

center of mass,
center of mass location
stabilizer location,
stabilizer power,
rotators that woble
The mech is moving/flying too fast,
the game glitches for a sec (I always have this problem)
the hover system might be too sensitive or too powerful
the hover system reacts too slow to adjust
build is too light or too heavy
