As the Skypark military began a technological revolution, derived from reverse-engineered Siren technology, many of their primary fighters began to be rapidly obsoleted as new weapons are developed. However, it was soon discovered that some of the more versatile aircraft could be used to test certain weapon systems before they're implemented into others vehicles. And so the Raptor Team came into existence, a group of three pilots who take control of modified NAFT-23s, each with a unique loadout, made to test different concepts for weapons in actual combat, though the actual planes used will vary, depending on which is better suited as a combat testbed.
NAFT-23-1
Armed with a cannon taken from a D8 King fighter, piloted by a worker drone dubbed Luke S. Walker. How a worker drone came to be part of a military project, despite WDs being banned from using weapons, is a mystery, perhaps part of a grander project.

NAFT-23-2
Armed with a series of machine guns and cannons of varying caliber and improved sensors.

NAFT-23-3
Armed with air-to-air missiles in both the internal weapons bay and large capacity pylons on the wings.
