Historical Note: XM27A1 LRCV(T)
The XM27A1 LRCV(T) was a Light Tank, the tank was designed to be used for reconnaissance purposes, the tank was developed as a competitor in the WSDF competition that had these following requirements to be met:
Must be based on 1949-1950s M272 variant
Must be light enough
Have the maximum weight of 23 tons, allowing the tank to be used in Airborne ooperations
Have a minimum caliber of 20mm and a maximum caliber of 100mm
Must be able to reach speeds of 108 MPH and Above,
Must be tracked
The tank must need to have a capacity for upgrades such as integration of ERA Blocks, Spaced armor, Anti drone roof spaced armor, and a Electronic Warfare device.
With this requirements met, the tank was able to win easily in these requirements.
Historical Note: XT33E1
The XT33E1 was a Light tank, developed by UAZ, the tank was also based on M272 (1949-1950s), but the XT33E2 would be based on their own T-29 "Perovoiy" MBT, which was also based on M272 but A3 variant, which was a late 1970s upgrade, the XT33E1 didn't met the requirements needed, similarly, the XT33E2 would meet the same fate as the XT33E1, both tanks would be used for Exports
Historical Note: XT33E2
the XT33E2 was a Light tank, it was based on the UralVagonZavod's T-29 MBT, the tank would not win in the competition
Historical Note: XM29
the XM29 was a Light Tank, based on a 1949-1950s production M272 variant, the tank would in the competition along with the XM27A1, both Tanks would enter service with WMSDF Marines, and WASDF Airborne Forces as M27A1 and M29A1
