Good chance I’ll change it to an su-27 instead cus this canard and thrust vectoring makes making a flight model impossible

    Anyone sending me FT codes for each moving parts I’d love that

    @ZeroWithSlashedO okay let me fiddle with it and figure something out

    I'm surprised you've gone this far without knowing how to ft

    the simple way to start learning ft is through the official guides by WNP himself, it may be slightly outdated but it explains nearly everything in a very simple manner for beginners.

    but either way, yes, that's the baseline of the code.

    @ZeroWithSlashedO one issue is I can’t ft for anything, so customizing it is like, beyond me rn even that simple, but yes I know what u mean bout the tvc thing

    sorry, I get easily annoyed sometimes
    I shouldn't expect everyone to be at the same level as I am

    either way, the nozzle doesn't move it's thrust directions, only converging and diverging as a way to concentrate the air coming out of the engine to give it slightly more power
    the petals move, the base of the nozzle itself doesn't is what I'm saying

    and yes, that's the entire code. you can modify it however you want, make it only move in certain conditions, and make it move in a certain way corresponding to the input, but other than that, the baseline code is just that.

    @ZeroWithSlashedO is that the entire code??

    @ZeroWithSlashedO no need to be rude man, TVC is Thrust Vector Control so if it doesnt have that then how do they move? maybe i shouldnt ask someone who is as smart as you

    what am I supposed to answer with?
    fuckin, just nozzle?
    I thought "no TVC" was clear enough

    @overlord5453 yeah no but it does seem to help some weirdly

    @ZeroWithSlashedO then what’s it have?

    @ZeroWithSlashedO I’ll put that on

    people seem to misconcept that the Su-33 has TVC
    it doesn't.

    also for canards, I don't really do anything else except putting a variant of:

    GS>1?AngleOfAttack/(RotatorRange):0

    since that's what canards pretty much only do on real-life flankers

    @QuiteInactiveWhiteBread ohh. But does it help with low speed flight? Flaps and slats doesn't work very well in sp.

    I've said this once and I'll say it again.

    I always thought canards and thrust vectoring made things easier.

    I could recommend a build you can check out if you want. It has the same setup as the SU-33

    @overlord5453 do you mean the slats? Flaps and slats are different but if you mean the slats then yes, I put a wing in there and it is angled relatively 90* level so at any Aoa it should help

    Really nice.
    Does the leading edge flaps do anything or it's just there for looks only?
