I was looking for aircraft carriers that had planes on them that you could fly, but they are a very limited selection. I might need help with the code (if there is any). I’m planning to make a series where I add planes to random aircraft carriers. (They’re really cool).
The one problem I had was that the ships shoot at the aircraft carrier, not the aircraft, (It would be nice if you know how to fix that).
There's this ancient Japanese carriers somewhere out there...
@Firecharge123 use a winch, it's hidden near the swordfishes on my sneezuchii, connect it manually, it basically makes it so that the aircraft is technically "connected"
@Monarchii How do you make the armament on the planes work?
@Monarchii December 7, 1941 - September 2, 1945. (Pacific War)
@Firecharge123 sweet, you're all set then pretty much, say, modern carrier? 60s? something else?
@LunarEclipseSP I can run it, but I’m at like 15fps
@Firecharge123 Oof, sad mate
@Monarchii yeah
@Firecharge123 you know about the liftScale property of wing right? via overload
@LunarEclipseSP I can’t run that on the potato I’m using.
@Monarchii I’ve already used that, (it was on the front page & it looked cool). But I wanted a different style besides biplanes. I could probably just make the lift more by funky trees? I will have to make the planes extra small & a lot more lift. The carriers I’m gonna use are gonna be pretty big, but probably not big enough.
Well for that, I think I got yourself really covered
Ships, convoys and AI all target the primary cockpit/flight computer. And obviously you can't have multiple primary cockpits.
point of problem is that I'd say you'd need enough runway(and speed) for the aircraft, so a 150m carrier wouldn't technically be able to operate a jet aircraft and instead an interwar biplane or early monoplane with good amount of lift-to-speed ratio is probably what you'd use, but then there's the German rocket F-104(at least I think it was German?) so technically you could, but still.
well I have my HMS Sneezuchii if you wanna look at that, it's an interwar carrier though so probably not what you're looking for idk
