Everyone’s talking about features they want in game for the actual game itself. However, many have neglected to explain what they want for the website. Here we go…
1.) A dark mode
Obviously we needed this since day 1. I am tired of being blasted with a white screen every time I open this website.
2.) Get rid of the upvote cooldown
Self explanatory. I do t know why this is a thing but I hate it. Get rid of it.
3.) Be able to see your followers
This is a big one. Why did they never implement this feature, I want to see who is following me. At least add an option to hide yourself on the “following list.”
4.) Be able to report someone as a whole and not just their bios, posts, and comments
Please add this feature. Wayyyy easier to report drama causers.
you forgot the ability to still be able to block people even if they erased their comments intentionally to make it so that blocking them is difficult.
@KisherSmord Automod is designed to prevent against spam forum posts such as Verifpro and other scams.
@N908QD I must agree it is pretty tedious
Something I hope SP adds is a better system to creating liveries because my god
I just hope we get an entirely separate set of every main section (aircraft lists, forums, mods) for SP2 instead of just having them be mixed. I could see the site header being restructured to follow the lines of the Juno site (for example), but with a second Content section for SP2.
I'm sure there will be some sort of separation or at least sorting system, but I hope it's not just a tag or something that gets applied when you post a plane. The forums in particular should be entirely separate for each game.
@BeastHunter I have solution for those auto modders.
Remove that automod.
Great suggestions! I agree with all of these, especially the dark mode and the ability to see followers. A dark mode would make browsing so much more comfortable, and knowing who’s following us is an important feature. Also, the upvote cooldown can be a bit annoying sometimes.
One thing I’d add to the reporting feature is the ability to report modders. Modders are a big part of the community, and just like other players, they should be held accountable for their actions. It would be helpful if there were a box for evidence when reporting modders, where we could upload screenshots and provide a text explanation of why we’re reporting them. This would make it easier for the devs to investigate and take appropriate action, ensuring a fairer and more positive experience for everyone in the community.
@BeastHunter just slap some cooldown on it
One problem with the last suggestion is that people could spam report someone and the automod could ban them, even without cause.
@Dissent3R yes
Also, make the blocking system similar to that of say Twitter
definitely like the darkmode and being able to see who's following my account, seriously, adding darkmode without having to do it yourself isn't that hard to implement, and so is the ability to see who's following you
@Axartar agreed
I also agree about the seeing followers, you can see them WHEN they follow you, but never after that? Also I think it might be kinda interesting to leave dead/deleted banned accounts, as like 'blockeduser' or 'deleteduser' or something, because I came back after a few years and people just don't exist anymore. I don't even have a semblance of why
I want a way to selectively ignore things in my notifications, because I never watch videos and my entire stream is full of them.
The upvote cooldown is likely there to prevent abuse, just like the aircraft upload limit.
