P1: During the first Duo World( That's the fictional planet that Los, and a lot of other countries that you'll see later are in) War, The K.O.L. was in the Allies Along with Baaland (The strongest nation in the duo world by armed forces), while the bad guys were: Con, Tax, and Meteorite. During this period, The RLAF operated the Meriko A-1 Robin, a biplane, which presented (at the time) Revolutionary things, like the infamous .50 cal gun, and throttle control. After DWW1, (Specifically during late 1923) Los was in a Civil war (because of a religious group committing lots of murders, specifically against Ethnically Ishkik people, who live in the south) And during the Civil war, the Meriko A-8, an updated version of the A-1 was put into Service, and after around 6 years of cooking, the Meriko A-16, and Vorechkin V-1 were introduced right at the outbreak of DWW2
At around 1940, one of the most important Lasa planes took to the skies, the Meriko PM-85 hummingbird. It featured an elliptical wing design, and a dual contrasting turboprop configuration, and combined with some other things, made the PM-85 an excellent aircraft, able to take part in any form of air to air combat
While there were some other aircraft released, like the Vorechkin V-2, and V-3, the other most important Lasa aircraft of the Second Duo World War, was the Meriko MJ-4 lion. It was not only a revolutionary engine, it was a revolutionary Airframe, featuring Aerodynamics suited for jet powered flight. The Lion's Airframe was meant to be upgraded and developed, and well, it was, getting upgrades like afterburner, and a radar.
During a Hiatus from Merikan because the C.E.O. died, and there was a lawsuit because Merikan's employees refused to merge it with Vorechkin to create the new Morechkan, Verronara created the Carrier based Navy fighter Verra F, and it was just horrid, the only upside being The state of the art (at the time) L-IR-3C missiles.
Though After the Hiatus, Merikan, (Now Pronounced more like 'Merîkan [Elongated I]), came back with the M-26 Fury; an incredibly advanced fighter for it's time, and still quite modern, as it featured an ASEA radar system, and also (what I like to call it) the double wave system, which shoots out 2 radar waves of the same frequency at once, to increase the radar's strength, which gave it outstanding Beyond Visual Range performance. The M-26 also had a base level Fly by wire, and in flight stabilisation systems, with special flaps called 'stabelirons'. And after the company almost collapsed a second time due to a spy incident and several unexplained deaths, they created the M-38 Longtail, an Air Superiority fighter with a new double delta wing canard configuration, really advanced flight control systems, and Thrust vectoring (That I didn't make because I am Lazy) This is why it's regarded as the most maneuverable aircraft ever built. It also had significantly improved B.V.R. capabilities, with an improved radar, and even Infrared tracking systems. Later variants, such as the M-38E , and M-38S improve on the base aircraft,.the S variant completely changing the wing design
Around 10 years later, in early 1995 (The Duo cold war had ended as Communist con [Yes, there was a duo cold war, from 1945 to 1993{and yes, con was communist}] had collapsed due to a widespread pandemic around the nation, and Baaland declared war on Tax), Tax showed the allies (Mainly Con, Baaland and Los) it's new fighter interceptor, the TV-51, which featured the semi-active radar homing B-555, with a range of 200KM and an excellent guidance system to go with it. This aircraft, and it's missile sent the Allies into a panic, forcing them to invent something that could defeat the TV-51, and after 1,6 months, Los had an idea, a stealth fighter. And after 20 years of making (they took this long so that any imperfection could be patched), the M-40 was introduced, and the moment it was, it felt like the PM-85 situation all over again, revolutionizing the RLAF, and putting it ahead of the rest of the Duo World, and just like the PM-85, the M-40 had excellent performance in air to air, AND air to surface combat, taking out crucial Takish airbases and radar stations
