Think of it this way: if this has happened 60 years ago, it would be another mayor UFO scare: Lots of people looking up at that sky and yelling 'Conspiracy' every time the they see something they can't explain.... Regardless if they have seen real drones, regular passenger planes, birds, or nothing at all.
