Tweaking airplanes is okay
It is okay to download someone else's airplane, make some tweaks, and re-upload a new variation.
In fact, the original designer may even receive bonus points.
However, if your variation does not offer any improvements over the existing airplane, then it may be removed.
If you are circumventing the predecessor/successor system, then you will be banned. Never upload a successor as an original design; give credit to the designer of its predecessor.
Specifically to what extent do all of the rules apply? Does this mean we cannot ask related questions if we want to find out about the reasons? Does this mean we cannot explain ourselves as a response?
@LunarEclipseSP I can't tell if it was intentionally made that way or done because there are limitations, but it is possible they don't want the blocked user to be completely blocked from publications from a single account either
@Nwoe9e I guess I think... but if someone get blocked by other, they can still visit their profile but they jist can't comment or mentiom their username, which is I think the blocking feature in this site is quite useless and not how it is supposedly work as.
@LunarEclipseSP basically comment and mention sanction?
@HuskyDynamics01 I feel like blocking feature of SimplePlanes is quite useless because it just only prevent you to comment in their post or mention their username. But we still could be able to visit their profile or even upvote and spotlight their post. The blocking feature is supposed to prevent you to never see their profile again until they unblock you.
@HuskyDynamics01 alright thanks for clearing up
The successor system rules are pretty simple and apply regardless. Don't bypass them to try and steal credit for someone else's work, and don't just repost someone else's build without changes. That's it.
Basically, if someone blocks you, move on and forget about it. It's their choice to block you for whatever reason they want, and since it doesn't affect you in any way whatsoever other than being unable to comment on any of their posts, there's no need to make an issue out of it. All that it means is that that person, for one reason or another, decided they didn't want to interact with you anymore. The person who blocked you doesn't need to explain anything, and you don't need to offer your own explanation or anything in response either.
