Part: Rangefinder -
Just a lil part that makes a funky tree output of the distance at whatever its directly pointing at. I can think of many uses for this, such as terrain following radars, predictive GPWS instead of reactive, realistic radar altimeters, and maybe even air-air radars if you make a high resolution dish with like 100 of them
Parts: More in-depth fuel tank system
Make fuel delivery more akin to kerbal space program where each individual tank can have a different priority or flow order in which some tanks drain first, as well as being able to shift fuel from one tank to another. Also parts for flying boom refueling and a fuel dump (this might already be a thing on JNO i actually dont know cause i dont play that lol)
Parts: More in-depth control over physics parts
The main thing in my mind is making custom lift coefficient graphs with a graph function or just with funky trees, same kinda thing for other stuff like drag coefficient on wings or other parts. Also funky trees control over things like wheel traction, wheel brake input, maybe even stuff like fuselage dimensions to make animated parts
Graphics: Make night time actually dark
Among other things like having more weather controls (setting an actual visibility distance, and other meteorological conditions), make night time terrifyingly dark, and also make the water not freaking glow at night. Only time you should see the horizon at night is if the moon is out and bright
^Additionally, I think SP2 could benefit if they made the game look pretty. Nothing like any of the horribly unoptimized real time rendering techniques that a lot of games use nowadays, but even a really nice skybox that looks great on its own would transform the look of sp1. I personally hope the skybox seen in the reveal trailer and steam page screenshots is a placeholder, though a lot of other things that's been shown like the water does look nice so they're definitely on the right track
Feature: Native TrackIR / Tobii Eye Tracker Support
AND/OR: add bindable controls for camera Z axis rotation (head roll), and XYZ translation in a first person camera, you can use TrackIR in sp using a freepie script and it generates 6dof vjoy axis inputs, though only two can be used in sp
Feature: Add map function
Add a proper map that also functions as the location change thing
Feature: Proper MP Chat
This one’s kinda obvious and most likely a thing already, just making sure that it’s at least said (using mp chat in latest sp version takes some skill lmao)
Request: instead of funky trees it should be called freaky trees PLEASE
Whatever happens, im still excited for the new game and cant wait to see what jundroo have been cooking up. it looks like '25 is gonna be a banger year for games merry crispmus um
*these wont be ready until maybe another month or 2^
also one thing to add the the trackir thing is to make zoom be able to be bound to an axis, instead of zoom in/out.
it would also be nice to have a fixed or adjustable zoom option for camera parts (eg. camera with a locked 5 degrees FOV)
Just played HAWX and with online mode maybe
-Deathmatch
-Free Flight
-Racing
-Missions
and others
and what about free form edit for fuselages hehe !!
Map Studio??
something simillar to simplerockets 2 planet studio
i need that linear algebra and matrix math in freakytrees when. wnp pls gib
What about funky trees for absolutely EVERYTHING
Funky tree fuselage block lengths? 👉👈🥺
freaky trees
i would love a raycast laser/rangefinder part so much it would litrally (LITERALEY) be so awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deez approved
"freaky trees" is wild
