In about 25 minutes in my time zone, 2025 will come. I wish everyone a happy new year. It is a time to reflect on the last year and prepare for the next. We have lost quite a few great creators, most notably @MAPA but we have gained many new friends along the way. May we look back on our mistakes and treat them as lessons to help us through 2025.

And most of all, rest in peace to the victims of this year’s tragic accidents. JL516, SQ321, PTB2283, 9N-AME, and especially AZAL 8243 and 7C2216, as well as all other tragic accidents that happened this year. May the lessons learned from these improve air safety in the coming years. Also, may we hope that Boeing can improve their quality in the future after AS1282 to prevent something like the 737MAX crashes in future planes.
