I would suggest to insert a new type of wing among those available:

WOOD AND CANVAS - Features:

available profiles - "concave / convex" and "flat bottom." Concave / convex is a more archaic profile, with a greater drag but a higher lift to "flat bottom". "Concave / convex" should only be available on this wing.

Weight - Less than that of conventional wings.

structural strength - minimum, lower than that of the traditional wings.

This would allow you to create realistic replicas of older aircraft, without complicating the game too.
