Hey, so I am building an F-5. I am attempting to build the wing as smooth as possible but I have reached a point in the wing that I dont know where to go from here. I am attempting to add control surfaces and keep the smoothness of the wing but I am not sure how to do so. is anyone willing to help me out?
Nvm, I figured it out. Thanks for the tip. I found the solution!!
@jamesPLANESii Thats a great idea. the only problem is I have never seen someone make a plane with a squared off wing that gets thinner as the wing gets further from the fuselage. The F-5 starts off with an already thin wing and the wing gets thinner until the wingtip. but the control surfaces are large and mimic the wing shape (Thinness, totally a word) but are thinned out (zeroed out at the aft of the wing) and I have never seen a plane like that on this sight. if you have seen aircraft or built some of your own let me know! I would appreciate it! I also will start looking at top builders posted planes to see if I find anything similar. Thanks for the tip!
I would recommend downloading other planes with a similar wing design to yours and seeing how they've made the control surfaces, and replicating those.
