So I was trying to rebuild a Blackhawk, my main goal, one that had less weight, better stability, new features, and less part count. Plus I wanted all the weight back on the aircraft.
I struggled for days trying to remake one from scratch, looking at many pictures and models I have around the house, but nothing was really working.
That is until I figured out an ingenious way, and I hope this helps other folks. So if you have a aircraft that is nearly impossible to make look good, use an existing aircraft that has that design, build over it and kinda outline it, that’s how you get the shape and dimensions correct.
I put the fuselage in the middle of the current aircraft and shaped it to match the edges of it. I was so delighted I had to share the idea (obviously i didn’t invent it), and I know a few players who are trying to build challenging designs. If you already have the design, it should be easy to design over it. Good luck!
@Airheaddivision ohh it's already done huh
@FaLLin1 I’ve got the helicopter design done, I’m just working on the flight physics
new I'm more interested to see what ur black hawk will be after u figured out thiss
@foury i hear you, the more complex it is the more painful it becomes
Kind of a way how i make my tanks lol, bc im kinda lazy right now to entirely build something from scratch
