Does Images from showing in description (site) with links from Discord, disappear after a certain time?
or
Uploaded images (in Discord) disappear or gets deleted after a certain time?
I noticed that all (or most, as far as I saw) the images I attached in my post's description are lost / not showing!
I uploaded those images on Discord. Also: those links are saying that the contents are no longer available!
Discord is no longer works as image hosting anymore. They said
@TarikArkswagen Basically, yes. Images hosted by Discord can only be linked to other places for like a day or something before the link expires. They'll stay in Discord just fine, but won't appear anywhere else.
In short, Discord wasn't able to keep hosting an unlimited number of files anywhere on the web indefinitely and for free.
@Nyamomin I see.. so URL expired or something? like I added the image above in this post will be disappear too? it's also from discord... these will happen again in future??
Discord removed the system of permalinks associated with images a while back, which meant that image URLs were no longer static and therefore unshareable.
