With "battery" instead of fuel tank... who like this? :D two pieces only, a bilion of possibility!
Oh... it must work underwater! ;)

Good idea
Make a 3 engined aircraft! it would be the first 3 engined aircraft of yours
@Pilarostrich0 no problems mate. :)
@Baldovino sorry, I misunderstood what you had said
Yes
@NovaTopaz Yep.
@Sirstupid Mod... Simple Warships?
@Baldovino It'd take a new block for you to reliably dive without sinking, and reworked water physics. in short, you'd be better off with a mod or a different game entirely.
@Sirstupid Yes, but "generator + battery" mean "battery only to dive underwater" ;)
@NovaTopaz A generator needs fuel, thus we've gone in a circle to using fuel again.
@Sirstupid Well, I doubt there would be solar panels. Batteries or maybe a generator would likely be more practical.
@NovaTopaz True, but solar panels are largely impractical for anything other than concept planes.
@Sirstupid Not an ion engine. Those have such a low P/W that they only work in space. Well, not because of the P/W, they have an okish power to wieght ratio(ok, it's terrible, but what do you expect? It's shooting out protons and electrons.), but they don't work that well in the atmosphere because they use ions for the propulsion. The atmosphere messes with the ions, and therefore can't be used for any atmospheric flight, or anything, for that matter. Electric motors would be more approite for a game like this. They actually work in the atmosphere, have a pretty decent power to wieght ratio(depends on motor type, etc), and there are things IRL which use them extensively, including planes.
Guys, electric engines must be propeller engines, do not do another jet...
Plus adding this "Ion engine" (Actually developed by NASA irl) would have many uses besides just rockets, more efficient (It doesn't make for a good "rocket" anyway)
But they made that game too
I know it was mentioned
LIKE SIMPLEROCKETS (I think it's the ion engine which runs off of batteries, and give it a cool blue flame)
@Pilarostrich0 in THIS topic no one has discussed of rockets, so.... your comment is out of place.
@Baldovino Just read through some of the other posts. People have been discussing them
@Pilarostrich0 hum... electric rockets sound me new. How they works?
So you want Simple Rockets?
I think an electric engine must have a range 75-150 CV (the game is very unbalanced for engines power, and less than this probably 'll be useless in any structure)
i get your idea and it would be cool but it would need work
Keep in mind that ion engines are VERY weak, and solar panels are near useless on 99% of builds, due to the need for so many of them.
