so ummmm... my main phone's battery is nearing the end of its lifespan, which of course causes instability so... if you wanna tag me for stuff, tag this account in the meantime, oh and if you're wondering, yes, i have finally got this phone fixed on my own since it's alot more simpler than my main phone, and aside from the lag, it atleast works
yes, this is me yaris if y'all are wondering
@Fiat133 yeah
I knew transistors were a fad /j
@V can dont mean it will, it will just last over a decade most of the time
@V i know, but then again planned obsolescence is unfortunately a thing so... im not even that surprised if thats the case
@Fiat133 batteries can last upwards of a decade.
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 fair enough, and considering the fact that this thing (xiaomi 4a) although beaten up still works with relatively minor issues and fixes despite being older than my main phone is something
@Fiat133 hmm, still seems like a manufacturer issue
@SuperSuperTheSylph what phone is it tho?
@SuperSuperTheSylph oof
@Fiat133 bruh
my brother's phone battery broke so we had to pay like...30 bucks or so
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 then again my (frankly terrible) habit might've also contributed to it so... yeah
also, even though it said that the batteries are good for 1 year, it does say minimum and i've had the thing for 2 something years and experienced no issues until recently
@Fiat133 brother, my IPod has lasted for a long time, been dropped 100s of times, and it’s battery still works
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 lmao
tbf it is a mid-low end model so...
@Fiat133 battery only good for 1 year, what is this madness (chinese junk moment)
@SuperSuperTheSylph idk, but it will be alot im sure
@Fiat133
Very sigma
@SPsidearm idk i still haven't checked yet
@Fiat133
Warranty still valid?
@V i still believe it's the battery since the instructions say that the batteries are good for just 1 year, also, my main phone is a xiaomi redmi 10, while this current phone im using is also a Xiaomi, just an older model called the 4a
@Pnut it definitely is, but oh well
What's the model of the phone? Backing up what is important and doing a factory reset does tend to help.
sigh how much to replace?
Shoot, that sucks. Repairing will definitely cost alot
@Fiat133
Case seems familiar to my MiPad 4's.
