No, I don't mean Windows 11, I mean transistors and all that nonsense.
I just learned some moron in 1972 lost the very expensive shipment of the first large production run of Graingy microprocessors. That was like a million dollars at the time. Run the inflation, it ain't pretty.
Anyways, someone in the Brass recently remembered this, sent a memo. If anyone can find it, it's yours. The things are laughably obsolete so they have next to no real value to us. The G72MP-2500A, 4-bit, similar to the Intel 4004 off which it's partially based. It has some quirks of its own in construction and use, but wherever the shipment is it should have manuals packed with it.
Have at it, I guess.
In other news, I now understand why that IT guy all those years ago started screaming when the client he was on the phone with said their processor was a 4004.
@Graingy honestly, yeah lmao
@Monarchii Dido is a funny name.
@Graingy on the old one, but it's an unfinished unlisted project, and it's shxt looking XD. imagine the HMS Nelson but stack three superfiring turret like HMS Dido, thing was an actual topside hell XD
I really should refine the Monster-class design... The paper is, like, what, five, six years old?
Holds up okay, but needs some tweaking.
Maybe someday I could make it in SP. Maybe.
@Monarchii Oh? Was this a post on this account that I missed, or your old one?
@Graingy reminds me of the shxt battlecruiser class I made lmfao, Unity-class and her sisters, Legion, Brotherhood(and it's supposed to end here), but then there's Confederate, Union, Sisterhood, and.. a few more I think maybe
@Monarchii ver spook
Silly as this sounds, I don't wanna risk someone else using all those names. Would be rather annoying.
@Graingy a a a a a h
@Monarchii The Soian Monster-class Dreadnoughts are named after monsters.
Monster, Minotaur, Centaur, Eldritch, Dragon.
@factpoultry I see.
@Graingy coding language
@factpoultry What is lua?
@Graingy yeah roblocks uses lua coding scripting yeah
okay so it uh
before what that code thing was it needs uh
piss = script.piss
shit = script.crap
those make the variables so it like uh doesn't give an error because piss is nil
@factpoultry lua?
@Graingy that's lua (i think)
idk i just use roblox studio a lot
@factpoultry idk ask the FT people
@Graingy
if piss.Value = true and shit.Value = true then
print:("peepeepoopoo")
is that a logic gate?
@Ashdenpaw1 I was hilariously accurate.
You are, and I say this positively, a nerd.
@Graingy
The siren shown in that video is a Whelen WPS-3000, with its volume turned down a lot
@Ashdenpaw1 Cassette decks?
Also, unrelated, this is the best representation of how I see you that I've ever encountered.
@Graingy
Between 1990s or 80s or so, like I’ve fixed cassette decks and stuff like that, all the way to 1930s stuff with my old siren
@Boeing727200F Good luck finding them. Really.
@Ashdenpaw1 Oh? Vintage in what sense? Now I'm curious.
I'm good with all software, not really hardware. I do know a lot about simple vintage hardware for old stuff like siren control systems but not modern computer hardware
