so uhhh... the xiaomi repair center in bogor and depok that i was about to go to turned out to be terrible after doing some digging (mostly because it's severely underfunded and understaffed) i then wanted to go to any decent and reputable 3rd party shop but i realized that all of them are very and i mean very far away from where i live so... scratch that
@Fiat133 lol.
@MosquitowithaMachineGun because i was stupid enough to make a second account (with the help of my mom) instead of recovering it, that's why, also, turns out this account im using on this backup phone is actually connected to my mom's other account, hence the constant email notifs from jundroo she kept getting lmao
Why can't you log into your old account?
@IFVuser yeah, i got it for a very and i mean very good price (around 80.000 smth rupiah)
wait your using Xiaomi 4A rn?
i had the exact phone too, but its battery is busted and it kind of bootloops
that lasts 5 years before it broke
@Fiat133 I'm not editing that so heres some updated info
At this point the only thing you can do is transfer your Google account or SD card besides that I can't help
Or hell, transfer both idk. It can only not work once
(More of a mechanical problem solver then technological)
@Fiat133 so (this experience comes from someone who has only used Samsung so take with salt not to mention old phone to new) so I think somehow fund away to connect your phone with the Samsung... and transfer that way maybe? Could go through the settings up process or somthing idk. But this is what reddits for so I'm sure you'll get better and more detailed advice there (as most likely someone has had your problem before and mad a post about it)
@Rob119 also, how am i supposed to transfer the files from my main phone to another phone even though it's dead? (if you're wondering, no, it's not a new phone, i found out that my father has an unused samsung phone that he decided to give to me as a temporary replacement)
@Fiat133 tbh I didn't even know they existed till about a year ago when a YouTuber did a short of them.. and kinda forgot about them till well you mentioned them (tbh it could've been huawei or smth idk but point still stands) so essentially there international spree hasn't been going well from my view
@Rob119 ik, i still wish that xiaomi didn't try to rush entering the global market in the first place, because stuff like this could easily happen...
@Fiat133 yeah that happens. To be frank it happens everywhere to some extent.
Well atleast their trying... kinda?
@Rob119 same, though tbf it's not really the staffs fault since from what i've heard they're very friendly and helpful, it's just that they had way more people to deal with than they initially expected, combined that with a tight deadline and underfunding and you get a sloppy repair job, though i've heard that xiaomi did try to address these issues recently so... that's at least good to hear
@Fiat133 turns out your whatever it is was quite the good investment. So atleast you got that
@Fiat133 I seriously doubt that'll happen. (Unless Indonesias just built different somehow)
@Rob119 it is, and unless if xiaomi themselves hired more staff members and give more funding to those repair centers i mentioned, or just improve it in general... yeah no
Dam that sucks
