Is there possibly anyway.... & What the FUNK(ytrees)?

Firstly, That the parts available could have a set of persistent options to where they will follow the presets when dragging them into the editor? I tried to alter the xml file to reflect changes but nothing changed in game. Ex: the fuselage block could be set to have hard corners and be 4x4 & 4x4 on the face sides with a length of 5. So everytime it is pulled into the editor, it would be that size.

Secondly, how hard would it be actually to allow all input fields to accept an additional value of a correlating variable in the variable setter table? If only the + field in overload would actually allow all input types and variables and then actually stick when saved then reopened. It will only save allowed additions whereas it should really let users add fields to that parts overload options.
I believe that this would allow a far easier way to make specific functions work especially for non expert users. For ex: being able to set a variable to equate to trim position or an if statement and then set a rotor speed input to that variable.

Thirdly, can there be a part add that would allow a user to specify input and output paths to the part of is overlayed on or attatched to? For ex: when added to a piston, it could have additional input controllers added depending on the distance extended that alter speed etc while specifying multiple output values based on extension distance that can be used in expressions for other parts or variables?

Lastly, can there be a small and flat, almost coin like, part that will add an additional attachment point to the object that it is attached to at that location? For ex: connecting it the bottom end of a dumb bomb which then allows another part to attach to the DB at the bottom and not just the single spot in the mid section.

I really feel like these things would be very simple to implement especially if you let ai analyze the code to expose the sections where currently written snippets from other lines could be easily copied and pasted to add the additional functionality. Since most of these suggestions are already available to be used for specific cases.
