So I am currently working on a tank and I'm having trouble with the wheels violently shaking. I've tried various solutions such as adding weight to the wheels and the parts its connected to, I know it can be fixed by playing on high physics but I want my builds to be compatible with all physics level so if anyone can help me it will be much appreciated :))
In the XML editor for all parts there is an option for
disableAircraftCollisionResponse
This should be
true
for things to go smoothly. By default its onfalse
@ComradeComissar, Sure. Goodluck on your build.
@ShiroNeko I've got the traction in auto and the same as the suspension I've built the suspension on combinations of rotators (In short the suspension is custom made). I'll just add weight to the wheels bit by bit so that I get the right mass scale, I'll try to not add too much now thanks for the help
Adding mass to the wheels usually work (if less doesn't work, try adding more but not to an absurd amount) but since you've tried that method, you should work next to the wheels' traction, and if suspension is enabled, try to fiddle with that too and see if what fixes it. Vague answer but it might give you insights on what to do.
