The weapons I wish was in SP2 pt2

Maybe the next topic will stray a bit from the title, but whatever.

First, Fox 2 missiles. It’s kinda weird that only Fox 1 and Fox 3 exist in SP, even though flares are literally meant to counter this type of missile… maybe?

Torpedoes. Man, I’m kinda disappointed that there’s only one type of torpedo here, and it’s not even a guided one. Having guided torpedoes would make things way more fun. I know that in SP, all ships just move in a straight line or in a super basic way, but maybe SP2 will change that? No idea. Making torpedoes manually is kinda weird, since you’d have to use an ASM missile and add buoyancy to make it float. Even if you XML a missile to be waterproof, it just dies underwater.

Supersonic or hypersonic missiles. I really hope they add those, that’d be so sick, dawg.

Alright, let’s switch topics to Parts.

So, I know—no, we all know—that fuselage durability is trash. Even with 9999 Health, it’s still not great. I mean, it might not be that fragile, but when one fuselage piece blows up, the explosion just spreads to the others nearby. That sucks, especially when just a tiny impact on one damaged part can make everything else fall apart.

Oh, maybe the devs could add armor like ERA? Something like that. Fuselage types with different metal compositions like steel, lead, iron, or whatever. Might not be that useful, but I think it’s kinda necessary.

Engines. Hmm, it’d be nice if engines weren’t just focused on planes. Like, having waterproof engines specifically for ships and boats would be pretty cool. Oh, and for aircraft engines, it’d be awesome if some of them had different modes—like being able to toggle Thrust Vectoring on and off.

Effects. We all know that effects are a big deal in games. If actions in a game don’t have proper effects, everything just feels flat and lifeless. For example, explosion shockwaves—it’d be sick if bombs had a shockwave effect that made the screen ripple for a moment when they went off. Or how about an actual blast radius effect? And of course, sonic booms when breaking Mach 1. Stuff like that. There are probably other cool things that could be added too.

    If I may vouch for a (toggleable, like any other) effect: High g shaking.
    Ever played KSP? In that game when you pull high g's in a planetary atmosphere (>10?) it shakes the camera and plays this very satisfying rumbling sound. I have no idea how realistic this is, but I want it.
