Pounding winds rocked the massive hanger as torrents of rain continued to batter the numerous barracks that dotted the base. The giant Gleipnirs sat securely in the water, engines on idle. Fighter lie in wait in their hangers, weapons close by and positioned to exit at a moments notice.

Two worker drones watched the downpour from within a huge hanger housing a colossal bomber, gazing out as a base that was once step away from springing into action.

"So, think this typhoon will pass soon?" One asks, eyes darting back and forth.

"Well, the eye went by a few hours ago, judging by how fast this storm was going, this should probably let up within the day." The other said, taking a large gulp of oil.

They both stared out at nothing in particular, standing in a rather stiff manner.

"So......we're really going to war?" The first asks.

"Sounds like it." The second says dryly

"When?"

"Beats me. Could be today, could be tomorrow. The way everyone's been going, those gleipnirs with be raining down death from the sky on someone. Only question is, who." The second takes another drink.

The first drone looks at the second with a look of mind disbelief.

"How are you so nonchalant with this? We're about to be shipped off to who-knows-where, across an ocean where a submarine could have us sleeping with the fishes in an instant, or a carrier could find us, or a surface ship, and if by some miracle we live through that we'll probably just get shot on the beach." The first fidgets with his helmet.

"I'm not worried about reformist ships and planes," The second one looks the first in the eye, "I'm worried about all that super secret nonsense the Covert Ops have been up to"

"W-what secret stuff?" The first says, now begin to breath faster.

"Where have you been all this time, under a rock? Come on, you really believe those Sentinel things where made to serve as " scouts"? If so, then why do they have those lights that scramble our brains, hmmm? It's cause of those zombie drones that supposedly don't exist." The second one says.

"But the humans say that it's impossible for drone to-"

"Well that's what they say. I've seen one of those jacknife planes go apesh*t after crashing and seemingly being dead. Not to mention all that stuff that Nori Doorman has been ranting about. All I'm saying is, the reformist forces aren't the only things we should be worried about."
