Welcome back my dudes
Normally I think of a crafty title for these articles...
But sometimes you gotta keep it simple, so keep it simple I did, and the title certainly works: War.
Over the past week- or, two weeks I guess- the fighting has raged on and on across Snowstone. The Loyalist forces of the Monarchii have been clashing with the SimpleCommunist™ Reformists, whether through ranged or head-on combat. So who's been taking advantage so far in this war that literally determines the fate of the Monarchii?
It's mixed.
In the air
The Loyalists have both been stomping and suffering. On one hand, most Loyalist aircraft are quite potent against majority Reformist vehicles. But AA weapons like the SBS-2B and formidable fighters like the Mu-19 have been serious threats to deal with.
One of the Loyalists' most important tactics was using radar helicopters to scout out ground weaponry, like the one shown here. Three were lost in total, two due to Mu-19s, and one more because of a ZG-6A missile.
A Diable Defense MV-22 Osprey barrel rolls while dodging an enemy missile. It was later confirmed that the pilot of this Osprey is a certified Ace Combat player.
A Snowstonian A-76 Izanami gunship fires at Reformist ground targets. Gunships like these did some of the most damage since they could fly higher than close-range attackers, and thus make SPAAs less effective.
The same gunship flying low to avoid detection while landing.
A Mu-19B with canards shoots down an A-94 Crowbar.
An AH-5RT Ardent attack helicopter making its combat debut. Ardents are planned to be some of the most formidable copters in the sky due to their high speeds, light weight, small frame, heavy armament and decent maneuverability.
Turns out the AH-5 is so strong that it can destroy itself... somehow the chaff and flares collided with the copter's rotor, destroying it and causing said copter to crash. This is, as of right now, the only confirmed AH-5 loss.
Aftermath of the crash. As bad as it looks, the pilot make it out alive and into friendly territory thanks to the help of vehicles from the Snowstone National Constabulary, just not without scratches and bruises.
If there's something scarier than the AH-5, it's the AH-66 Bloodhound. I know for a fact it definitely looks scarier, as opposed to the Ardent's smaller frame.
And yes, it bites. Only four AH-66s were deployed on combat missions, but so far have confirmed at least 52 sorties, no losses, and over 100 Reformist ground vehicles destroyed.
Bloodhounds destroying more stuff.
The only vehicle spared by the AH-66s' fury, only for the same tank to later get destroyed by an old Loyalist IS-3 from the first M-War.
It hasn't all been victories for the LFCM (Loyalist Forces of the Crown Monarch). This aircraft was struck down by ground fire to the point where I cannot even recognize what it was.
FA-34 Strikeblades have been attempting to use their speed as an advantage in order to attack Reformist positions, but Reformist aircraft like the GF-2E Free Fighter have proven severe threats to the speedsters. Although only one Strikeblade has been downed (and to ground fire rather than enemy aircraft), it's still risky. The Strikeblade in this photo returned home with only half a wing, but was written off when the gear collapsed on landing.
The SBS-2B claims another victim. It is arguably one of the most feared SPAAs of the M-War II, but this power has simultaneously hurt its effectiveness, as it has been a primary target for many attackers, resulting in their numbers dwindling.
A Crestan SLV-1 duels a Mu-19.
Both aircraft were critically damaged, but the SLV-1 returned home (barely), while the Mu-19 crashed post-fight due to severe damage.
A Diable Defense Rafale protects a DoF A-Tan as it prepares to strafe ground targets.
An A-72 Redwing attacks Loyalist tanks during a mission.
A Reformist A-50 Mk.1 in combat.
A Graingy-built F-116 Crow attacks Reformist positions.
Reformist tanks are blown apart from explosive munitions dropped by an RCASA-65.
A badly damaged but somehow still airworthy Mu-19 flies back to base. Yes, I am flexing the new, advanced damage model which I plan to use on all of my M-War II aircraft, and eventually tanks too.
The LF-4 Aerojet performing CAS.
A Monarchiian Plopter scores a hit on Reformist vehicles. Although unconfirmed, it's claimed that the Plopters also scored hits on Reformist outposts and cargo ports.
Although the fighting is occurring too far away to make out what's going on, this is supposed to show a fight between four Plopters and a Mu-19. Three Plopters where shot down, but they still got the Mu-19!
Some fighter pilots, using Super Hydra Mk.VIs, used old M-War I tactics, flying at high altitudes where other fighters may stall or have trouble turning.
As it would turn out, Mu-19s aren't good altitude fighters.
Egger being an egg.
On the ground
The Loyalist ground game has actually been much less formidable than previous wars. Reformist vehicles, particularly ETSF ones, have proven to be lethal at close ranges, making it impossible for tanks to get close without severe risk. However, the Monarchii and allies have still been trying their best to combat the Reformist ground units.
A Snowstone National Constabulary M18 ADATS shoots at Reformist aircraft. M18 ADATS vehicles were credited with at least 16 victories, 7 of which were confirmed to be Mu-19s.
An ARV-22 Grenadier shoots at enemy vehicles.
Something explodes upon being shot by the M49A3-C's 350mm cannon.
A ZOV-1 fearlessly charges at and destroys a Reformist SBS-2B.
Another SBS-2B damaged (and later destroyed) by a DoF M5A1 Pinzhao.
Ditto.
An M49A3-C and M5A1 fight back-to-back against Reformist vehicles. This is easily my favorite picture of the ground war so far, and not just because it's a cool shot.
The Loyalists have been doing fairly well in the ground game due to the Reformists' lack of dedicated tanks. But here two Monarchiian vehicles, the left Loyalist and the right Reformist, stand off in a true tank-to-tank duel.
The Loyalist one won! But he was lucky. Multiple other duels like this happened, and Reformist tanks fared quite well.
In the seas
NOW here's the moment we were all waiting for! The Loyalist navy has, at least so far, proved virtually untouchable thanks to the Reformists' lack of naval weapons. More importantly though, they've been absolutely pummeling their ground forces.
A drone takes off from the HMS UXV Combatant.
An AH-5RT flies over a fellow Loyalist submarine.
The RRS Hakurei fires its guns onto Snowstone's coast to destroy Reformist vehicles.
Naval vessels under attack from a Mu-19. Flamestays have been attacking ships and subs from the start, but to little avail. Many including this one here were shot down.
Another angle of the attack.
A Blackhawk takes off for a mission. They are some of the most extensively used naval copters so far.
Hence my previous statement, more Blackhawk action (note the ship in the background).
A ship fires flares and missiles at the same time.
Another RRHI ship bombards enemy positions. Naval vessels in total accounted for 803 confirmed kills on ground targets, 52 confirmed air kills, and no losses except for a single "TRASH" raft which was destroyed when a destroyed Mu-19 crashed into it.
A cargo ship loaded with Loyalist weapons is escorted to the Avalanche Airport Docks.
A Snowstonian submarine shoots its missiles. It didn't actually claim any kills in this attack, but it did destroy a location where the Reformists were planning to build coastal artillery weapons.
A Blackhawk takes off from not the Musashi, but none other than the Yamato AEGIS. Yes, we raised it. Why? Because the Anti-OP/Meme Treaty didn't apply pre-war, so we used all my A-40s to lift it. How did we repair it is a different story, but this is literally the Combined SimpleVerse where the entire world got nuked just a few months ago and still has enough energy to spring into basically modern World War II. Logic only applies to a certain extent here!
This will probably be one of the most iconic sights of the M-War II.
Speaking of iconic, behold the greatest propaganda picture known to mankind. The A-40D and Yamato super battleship- on the same side
And with this, we end today's article!

It's finally out!
@LunarEclipseSP Ngl you aren’t wrong… that’s why I surrendered…. The glaze (not to be rude just stating my opinion) of monarchii
@TheUltimatePlaneLover such a strong plot armor we got here
@LunarEclipseSP pulling a Phillip Graves,i see
(he "died in a tank" in MW2 reboot campaign,but he was actually never in a tank,he was still alive and kept leading Shadow Company)
@LunarEclipseSP The world's most anti-climactic plot twist:
He was going down with the ship, but he was saved because he forgot to deny the request of the guy who wanted to install the cabin with floaties
@SPsidearm Soviet Bias!
No seriously, the Monarchii uses mostly Soviet vehicles lol
@TheUltimatePlaneLover Thanks :D
me when ZoV-1 crews get trained better than the ones in S-WAR:
@TheUltimatePlaneLover And so does that mean the original captain of MRNS Yamato actually died? So the ship now under command by a new captain innit? Or surprisingly, he managed to survived and "faked his death"?
.
But I would love if the Yamato captain survived, faking his death, as both plot twist and armor
@SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore Oh, you mean the collaborative weapons list?
@LunarEclipseSP Nope, Operation Going Eleven absolutely happened during M-War I, in fact the Yamato was the only ship (involved in the battle) that I managed to fully recover, or more accurately the only recovered one that I rebuilt. I recovered a little over a dozen, but many were either "neglected" or actively salvaged from in order to support the reconstruction of the Yamato AEGIS. I figured gunships would have some kind of extra advantage because they can bypass Snowstone's rough terrain via manual aim, as opposed to missiles which often struggle with low-altitude targets.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover And so a quick question regarding of this unexpected plot twist. Does that mean the Operation Going Eleven was never happend before?
I also saw Shinna Faultline stealth frigate making her first M-War II debut. Play this theme music as she's entering her frenzy mode or killing spree mode.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover So technically the Monarchii's Yamato captain is still alive. This also give me a chance and interest to expand the lore of the Modern Yamato super-battleship
@SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore ??????
@TheUltimatePlaneLover ah lol
Btw @TheUltimatePlaneLover do you know the post about equipment things for nations? I might've lost track of it and I need the link because I have a new aircraft and an aircraft I forgot to add
I should probably get Janoshi a Combat Cargo Deployment aircraft, I've thinking of one right now as we speak
.
Also Janoshi ground vehicle will be... Out of the ordinary should I say...
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 Good luck, Janoshi have reinforcement
@LunarEclipseSP I raised it before the war since the AOM-Treaty hadn't taken effect yet lol
But yeah the Yamato's back, so now we can finally have Yamato and Musashi in the same time (whenever I find the Musashi model)!
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 Yeah sorry bro, I crashed out...
Well, I crashed out, but so did my iPad. It kept crashing from war, and I use computer for exclusively naval scenes, and eventually I gave up after I had a fair amount of combat footage. We were actually supposed to see much more ground action, and a little more air action, including some iconic crafts like ACI F-15, SK-3, Thrust Vecotring, etc., but naval was the only one truly completed for this article.
Why didn't I "complete" the other two? Because it works enough for what it's worth, and by the time I had enough energy to make more footage, I used it all on my secret project lol
@DeeganishCountryball @SDmak @KPLBall
You got it :D
@TheUltimatePlaneLover btw....you are not far from the truth regarding one of my Osprey pilots
most of our guys,including me play video games,Ace Combat being one of them :))
@RB107 It makes me happy too that mah people from Diable were cooking with delivery of cargo and guarding you guys :))
We will be at your service,always <3
Can you add my MCCVH A13 t the loyalists team next time?
