I’ve never used FT, but i’d like to know how i can make a FT ammo counter for my assault rifle. For a cannon input.
And by the way, yes that means another teaser for the legendary weapon. This is another Iconic weapon that any halo fan can spot easily. Feel free to guess. It shouldn’t be that hard because it’s the staple of multiple game covers in Halo.

@blt
762 sucks use 22
@blt keep in mind the text size but doesn’t impact the function. It’s just used to make it appear and disappear.
@Graingy Ah thank you! It solved my problem.
designtext
|<size=100%>
{ammo("7.62x51mm")}
Again, just copy from the stock VR craft.
Did it work?

@Graingy Hm. So you’re saying if i name the cannon
ma5b
and replacestring
withma5b
, it’ll show the ammo on text?Yeah that works
Try this?
Damnit the text highlight didn't work
Aight, found it.
... I swear I know the rough answer...
Eh, just take it from one of the VR stock craft. That's where I got the first FT text components I ever adapted.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say {AmmoName}, but I could be wrong. Strings might not be considered values on their own, I can't remember. They haven't been the focus of my efforts to learn FT.
