a sneak peek at what I've been up to. I just created a six-bladed rotor head that folds.
This helicopter is nowhere near done but I thought I would share this
Shout-out to 2Papi2Chulo and his SH-60 since this was originally from his build I just converted it from a four-bladed to a six-bladed rotor head
@Graingy have fun 🙂
... I'll have to dissect it.
@Graingy what I mean is there's two rotators on each rotor blade that are mainly responsible for folding the blades back. There's only one set on theirs but on mine there's a second set that's responsible for the two outermost blades resting on the sides of the fuselage.
@Skykid028 wdym?
@Graingy mainly focus on the rotators on the rotor disk. There's mainly two rotators to focus on
@Skykid028 I suppose I'll have to dissect that when I get the chance.
@Graingy check this out. It's what originally gave me the tools I needed

@Skykid028 Okay but like how. Some FT property on the rotor itself? Separate rotors each connected to a rotator?
@Graingy it's actually quite easy. Just takes trial and error
Dang, how that work?
@JBPAviation that's right, folding rotor blades

I'm sorry did I read that right...
