@dubstep you're going to go through the folders in this exact order. If you get stuck at a step, tell me which one it is that you're stuck at, and also copy the address of the folder you're in so I can see it.

Windows (C:)

Whatever your username is
AppData (this is probably where you will get stuck. See below for an explanation)
LocalLow
Jundroo
SimplePlanes
AircraftDesigns
If you got this far, you're now in the right folder. If you got stuck trying to find AppData, it's because AppData is hidden. At the top of File Explorer, there are four tabs - "File", "Home", "Share", and "View". Click View. If you look around in the options that that opened, you will see a checkbox for "Hidden items". Make sure this is checked. It should make AppData appear.
To be clear: AppData is hidden because you normally don't want to change anything in it. Do not change anything you don't understand.
how do I get to al the files, I got desktop, downloads, recent places, this pc, one drive, simple planes, but I cant find all the info @Nickasaurus @Skua
@dubstep it's editor.xml for the live plane you have. You want to save that plane as whatever and find whatever.xml and that's the file. Its under the aircraft designs folder
@dubstep excellent! Okay, the next step is to right click the file with the name of your plane, go to "Open with", and then click either notepad or Notepad++. You're gonna see a whole load of confusing code type stuff, but that's okay, it's actually not as bad as it looks. You'll see that every part of your plane is in there, one after the other. Near the start of each section, it tells you what sort of part that one is - the first one will normally say Part = "Cockpit-1" for example. You need to find the one that says Gun (I think miniguns are "Gun-1", but I'm not sure). You can ignore the position and rotation and all that, you want to try and find the values for things like muzzleVelocity and bulletWeight. If you increase those values, it should increase the power of the gun. It's very important that you leave all of the spaces and punctuation intact, otherwise your plane won't load. Anyway once you've changed what you need, save the xml, go back to SimplePlanes, and reload your plane. If you test it out, the gun should be more powerful now, but you might need to experiment with the numbers to get the right effect.
