I think I just saw a b-2 fly over. it was hard to make out, but it was moving really fast and was extremely quiet. Also it's lights where in a triangle like shape

It may have been a UFO
When I lived in Fargo ND, decades ago, we used to get to see the 119th's (Happy Hooligans) F-4 Phantom IIs out of Hector Field. To hear those things howl, it was no wonder they were named Phantoms! Later they switched over to F-16s and somehow they just didn't inspire the sense of aggression and demand the attention the way the old Phantoms did. I nearly wept when I heard that the 119th is switching over to those overgrown R/C Predators. How far the Happy Hooligans have fallen....
@JetstreamAeroEngineering I live next to an international airport that has national guard based there, then I live off the runway heading of a airforce base
i only ever see a nearby dentist's private plane, crop dusters and air-evac copters. (except when a GIANT twin rotor military copter flew over my house really low.)
@UnstableOrbit I know how that is to
Every so often I have a formation of Apache Longbows or a Chinook fly about 200ft over my house. Makes the damn windows rattle. Very rarely do I see jets, however.
@FrankieB we get about the same, the joint air force / navy base is about 20 miles from my house, but I live next to 3 civilian airports and one I'd them is a FedEx and Amazon distribution center, so we can get some big cargo jets from time to time
When I go to the beach in South Carolina pairs of F-18's fly over about every hour or two.
Edit: here is a video
@AeroEngineering I've seen an f-35 and f-22 at the national guard
The landing approach of an ing. Airport gives you bigger planes. We see F-15"s, FA-18, I think I've seen and F-22 silhouette, and it's rumored to be F-35's on the USAF base, but I haven't seen am yet. @FrankieB
we live next to an airport so literally evey day cessnas and other small jets, earlier today i saw some twin engine bomberlooking plane that ive NEVER seen in my life. occasionally we get private jets, F-18s and as i right this, two chinooks. once i even saw a viper above a highway!
@AeroEngineering oh yeah, I also see c-130s
@FrankieB cool. Some days there is a constant stream of stacked C-130's waiting to land at the USAF base
I usually see c-5s and c-17s but an occasional f-15 or kc-135
@JetstreamAeroEngineering I live on a final approach for an international airport, and an airforce base
@amazingperson124 oh lol I get ir now
@AeroEngineering I know, I live in a not so populated area so the jet are sometimes going super sonic, and it makes it hard to do school work. and you're lucky your house isn't on there flight path because of the night ops
We saw a something similar to a c-17 fly low above our house a few weeks ago
@Sirstupid My school is under the landing approach of am Intl. Airport, a USAF base, and a Coast Guard. I see helicopters and huge jets daily at low altitudes, and if you want to see the fighter jets, come while I have a test. Tey seem to coordinate the trining scheldule of the 2 F-15's wit my test scedule, and do you know how hard it is to conceptrate when F-15's are flying over? Its nearly impossible. But it is cool when they fly over at lunch
This... is... a conspiracy...
You literally live in the greatest spot on earth.
!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!!!!!
