@Skua one more thought. If you decide to try and put guns on the turrets please don't make them stick out very far. Personally I don't want guns on it because they may look to big. But I want you to decide because I know you are a wonderful and experienced builder.
@GINGER01 alright, I'll see what I can do
@Skua you could make them functional. The thing I was hoping you could do is to make the remote controlled turret under the nose accurate. If you want to make the turrets move able go ahead.
@GINGER01 are the guns and turrets meant to be functional, or am I just to make them look nice?
@Skua B-17 nose here is the war Bird I would like you to fix. Give it a nose job. Thanks for the help.
@Toymaker don't worry, they weren't requirements, only suggestions for things to look at for ideas haha
Uhhh...ok thanks@Skua
@Toymaker just different features that planes sometimes have on their wings, is all. LERX stands for Leading Edge Root Extension, like the long points at the root of an F/A-18's wings. A cranked wing is one that starts off with a high sweep and gets less swept towards the outside, like a Saab Draken.
Wait...what is lerx,strike thingy your talking about?i have no idea.
@Skua
Thanks!ill try to apply those if i can..!@Skua
You seem to have the basic ideas down, the CoM and CoL look about right, you're using fuselage sections instead of the old blocks, and you're not using the default colour scheme. All of that is pretty good stuff. My only suggestions on top of that would be: don't be afraid to make your plane longer, and try making wings out of more than one piece. You can add all sorts of thing that way, like LERXs, strike, cranked sweeps or deltas, rounded wingtip, whatever you fancy. It looks like you have a good grasp on building, though! I shall test your plane properly later
