First off, I am not trying to ask for upvotes, alright?
I want to say that there are so many cool planes out there, and they get hardly noticed. Like they always go for the creators in black and gold, not the ones in bronze or silver. Like for example, I spent a month and a half trying to perfect my 747-8. And then there is like 8 upvotes. Seriously, have you seen those things that aren't even planes, like ships and robots? Those have like 30 upvotes?!? The game is called simpleplanes for a reason, not simplerobots or simpleships or simplecars. What I don't believe is that these robots and ships make it to the featured list.
As I said there are many good builds out there by users in the level of bronze, silver, like me. I have a few good builds like the 747-8i and the F-16 I made. They have only like 10 upvotes. Others have like 50. I REALLY WANT OTHER PLANES to be more noticed, not only giving the most popular users like 50 upvotes.
This just makes other people sad, you know? They put weeks of effort into their things and all they get is like, what? 5 upvotes? That is just not worth the effort. So this is why I don't upload planes as much as I used to.

I mean I agree with you. I feel like it is also the way the aircraft are presented. With the majority of my builds, if the thumbnail doesn't clearly show the plane, people would not click on it, even though the build has great possibilities. Also people really do take hours and weeks out of their days just for no one to really acknowledge them.

it's called SimplePlanes, yes, but THE NEXT UPDATE IS ALL ABOUT MONSTER TRUCKS!
This isn't a game about planes anymore, it's a game about everything people can build in it, and there's nothing wrong with that.
They are being creative and using the game for what they want to build, instead of being limited to planes just because the name says "planes" in it... do you think all the planes should be kept simple, as well?
Exactly as @AeroEngineering said. Dedicate yourself to your planes. Internet points mean nothing. Just enjoy the game.
You shouldn't build planes for the upvotes, but for the neck of building them
