Ok first off, I know that fine tune parts are available by XML modding them, but for iOS and android users it can be a hassle to deal with coding the files. With parts that can be fine tuned it would avoid the procces of going though the gamefiles and potentially corrupting the whole game (This happened to me a month ago on my Mac). I think that the fine tune increments should be 0.1 and extreme fine tune increments at 0.01. This would allow more users to make more complex designs and reduce weight on the aircraft itself.
