I havent seen any of Jelly's videos on YouTube or even heard of him, but after less than a month at Simple Planes, I'm plenty familiar with him. Apparently he encourages his fans to build airplanes and post them on the site so he can fly them in his videos. Which isn't bad in itself. It's pretty respectful to acknowledge your fan's dedication in your content.
But what this has turned into is the opposite of respectful. A considerable fraction of the recent user output on this site has been exclusively "Jelly Planes". Most of them are posted by people who have made their accounts simply to submit their planes to Jelly. This is becoming a major problem for multiple reasons. Let me explain:
The growing number of planes being submitted is making the site harder to use. Regular users, who take part in community events and regularly submit their hard work onto the site, are being drowned out by these one-off accounts that do nothing but post one or two planes for Jelly and do nothing else but take up space.
The "Newest" category for plane browsing is becoming more and more crowded, making the small builders with less followers to grow more slowly, since it takes longer for new people to find their planes after combing through all of Jelly's fans.
The obvious. The majority of these people's planes aren't even of their own creation. They have taken someone else's project, usually a gold or platinum ranked user, coloured it that annoying shade of green, and then shamelessly posted it as their own. And they get upvotes! Jelly fans are literally STEALING revenue from dedicated users, just to have a sliver of a chance to be featured in one of his videos.
Now, when this first started out, it seemed like a joke. I would occasionally find a "Jelly Plane" and give it a chuckle, thinking about how low the user must be to post someone else's hard work as their own. But now, I'm getting upset. To the point where I have taken time out of my day that could've been used for productive things to address a growing problem that other people have started. It's unbelievable.
I hope someone who has authority reads this and actually takes action. Because this does need to end. The community has been interrupted by a plague, causing everything to fall apart. Endless anger and frustration is being circulated through the site, against Jelly and his fans. People are now submitting anti-Jelly content, and starting Jelly Plane "extermination" campaigns to fight the endless flow of plagiarism and theft trickling into the community. Someone with power needs to do something about it, one of the devs needs to contact Jelly and notify him of his disruptive and disrespectful fans, and end this. For the sake of Simple Planes.

ALso one more thing i wont mind my creations being used,but if u gonna change it like for a youtuber atleast just put the actual users creations name and then out (version)
indicating it was different before transforming into an different versions/editions

yea but also before 1 or 2 video he posted like before the 2nd the haters made there anti jelly,example :quick scope the jelly,shoot the jelly ect,now not only that but also one of those Anti Jelly(A.J) took one of the creation of another user and transform it into Anti Jelly ,hense the reason ,jelly fans using others users to transform it into,jelly edition,yes they did that even the haters did,not only that but what i like(limited) is the creativity and yes Jelly could of atleast say the user name but if his fans pointed out the ORIGINAL ones then sure ,cuz if i did use someones normal plane i would atleast put in the description for example- the JElly Airlines 222 was airlines 2313 before this, the original user was jesclu(just an example) and i would also say u know like - check this user out he has some descent one all credits goes to him(even ask permission first if necessary,so not just the fans are wrong,they kind of in the clear but still wrong,but BUT the haters not doing the right thing,BUT Wrong,so pls just dont focus on jelly fans ,cuz u want ,atleast look on the bright side,the same way u are n the bright side with haters ,but also look at the down sides at the haters "and there creation"..

Agreed twice. We must put stop to the plagiarism. They just steal your creations and sacrifice them to Jelly. This is annoying.
As long as they're not doing anything bad, you can't tell a person what they can and cannot build on SimplePlanes.

I appreciate your counter argument @Albertong27 but I see that you've joined SimplePlanes about 2 days ago. I made this post 4 days ago. The situation was ridiculous back then, almost all of the Jelly Planes were either copied or contained hate speech. And my subject was focused on user friendliness, not site popularity, so your point about the site becoming more popular because it gets more visitors is kind of invalid here. Also, like I said, a lot of these accounts only make a couple planes and then leave. They're not actually becoming members of the community, they're just crowding the site with empty space. And lastly, I created this post to have other users read it, not necessarily to have the devs read it. I said I hoped that someone with authority would read it, but it wasn't my motivation to write this. Also, this post will not be taken down, since I am not breaking any of the website rules.

lol @BlueHawk video editing is literally the only required skill to get subs on YouTube. Some people have charisma and a clever sense of humor, but the majority just have to act randomly and overreact to everything to rack up a following of 7-12 year olds
