@JacobHardy64 Thehtmguy had it right, you were just using the wrong link. You need the URL of the actual image, rather than the page it was on. You used http://i.imgur.com/cdrbtzB, but the image's URL is http://i.imgur.com/cdrbtzB.png.

upload it to imgur, then copy the direct link ( it is in the sharing options) then put ![] (the direct link)
