I have a big project in work and I thought, i'd give you a little preview of the USS Iowa.
I am trying to make it not only cool looking, but also performance friendly and fully funktional! All turrets move and fire different types of projektiles.

@Badet xD thank you
@Waemoth 1/2 - 2/3 something like that ;) I dont actually build after the rl data, more after my own judgement of length...
If I ever complete my Vanguard, and multiplayer is added, it would be a nice fight :) May I ask, what scale are you building in? The scale of my Vanguard is really weird, around 10/18.
@WahrscheinlichIch I meant in relation to the actual hull. The turrets are as wide as the hull(NOT the case on the actual Iowa), and the front turret is near the point on the bow where the front corners of the turret meet the hull(again, not the case on the actual Iowa, or the rest of the class, for that matter). I could see how you'd have to cut corners in this case, though, especially if this is designed to function on mobile.
And I could kinda tell you were german... The 'K' in projekt... I usually see that on translated german projects, but figured I wouldn't say anything in case I was wrong.
@Mod I actually guessed it was german, but didn't bother to say it.
lets go iowa!!!!! lol i live in iowa
I've been there... I'm a California native.
@NovaTopaz Well, once the second tower is in place, that will hopefully not be the case. If my spelling is bad, that is, because I am a german...
... What's with the spelling in the post? Anyway, looks nice, can't wait to see it finished!(happen to be one of those BB's fanatics because of playing BSC, or at least very knowledgable in them. And yes, currently, I do have to agree with Waemoth, it does look like a South Dakota. Not that there is anything wrong with that, and largely has to due with the oversized 16" guns, relative to the hull.)
@WahrscheinlichIch Yeah, the result will be awesome, I'm sure.
@Waemoth Thanks, I hope, it'll look like the Iowa when it is finished, but I am only like 1/3 of the way there anyways...
Looks more like a South Dakota to me. Good job, anyways!
