Support :Simpleplanes crashes drivers

Well here what's happening, sometimes there's a chance that the game will freeze randomly and then get stuck, and then windows will pop in a notification saying that "drivers has stopped working properly and has recovered" and the strange thing is that I haven't been touching my pc lately and I only downgraded my nvidia drivers from 364.47 to 362.00 because there were "issues" that plagued the driver with numerous bugs. I checked my temps of my gtx 750 ti and there at a frosty 34 °C is there a problem in this game? It's not happening in any other game I play. .. (BF4,TF2,WT)

I have the same problem with the following configuration (on high settings + realtime reflection):

    Windows 10

    Graphics driver details:
    Driver Packaging Version - 16.15.2211.1001-160403a-301124E
Provider - Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
    2D Driver Version - 8.1.1.1546
    Direct3D® Version - 9.14.10.1183
    OpenGL® Version - 6.14.10.13431
    OpenCL™ Version - 2.0.6.0
    AMD Mantle Version - 9.1.10.109
AMD Mantle API Version - 98309
AMD Audio Driver Version - 10.0.0.2

    Graphics card details:
    AMD 380X
Graphics Card Manufacturer - Powered by AMD
Graphics Chipset - AMD Radeon (TM) R9 380 Series
    Device ID - 6938
    Vendor ID - 1002
    SubSystem ID - E308
    SubSystem Vendor ID - 174B
    Revision ID - F1
Bus Type - PCI Express 3.0
Current Bus Settings - PCI Express 2.0 x16
    BIOS Version - 015.047.000.012
    BIOS Part Number - 113-4E3081U-X58
    BIOS Date - 2015/11/01 18:16
    Memory Size - 4096 MB
    Memory Type - GDDR5
    Memory Clock - 1500 MHz
    Core Clock - 1040 MHz
    Total Memory Bandwidth - 192 GByte/s
    2D Driver File Path - /REGISTRY/MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Control/Class/{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}/0001

Screen becomes black and windows tells me that the driver stopped responding. Sometimes it doesn't even recover and I have to restart the system. I don't have PSU problems and the GPU isn't overclocked.

@Gaben ah, it won't die, just some bug then, no worries

@Flightsonic then I think I will wait for the next driver update from nvidia because 364.47 was causing stuttering.

Do you think my gtx 750 ti is near its death? @Flightsonic

@Gaben hmm, it may be the engine, but I don't know why it would conflict with your drivers

@Flightsonic I'm not sure but it's not even happening with my other games despite them being more graphically intensive

It may be a problem not involving SP, has it happened any other time?

I'm no computer mechanic but if you aren't worried about money maybe get a GTX 980 for better FPS. But I don't know if it will fix the freezing. Again I'm no computer mechanic.
